What is DigITaL?

Digital Ideas for Teaching and Learning (DigITaL) is an interactive and educational open access publication where instructors can share and access case studies related to bringing new technologies into the classroom. For the purposes of this publication, the editorial staff define case study as “a written account that gives detailed information about a person, group, or thing and their development over a period of time” (https://www.collinsdictionary.com/us/dictionary/english/case-study).

Each case study includes a digital tool description, a lesson plan in which the tool was used, and a reflection on the process.

This publication started in 2019 as a collaborative project between outreach librarians at the University of Rochester’s River Campus Libraries and the Center of Excellence for Teaching and Learning with recognition from Educational IT Governance Committee.
